Calcium carbonate acts directly in the oesophagus, as well as the stomach, and both antracids are then eliminated by your body.<\/p>\n<h3><em><span class=\"coh-color-light-red\"><strong>RENNIE SUGAR FREE DOSAGE<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The usual dosage is 1 to 2 tablets initially, up to 3-4 times per day.<\/li>\n<li>In case of more frequent or severe pain, the dose may be increased for a short period, up to 10 tablets per day.<\/li>\n<li>This medicine is only for adults and children over 12 years.<\/li>\n<li>The duration of treatment is limited to 14 days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Rennie is suitable for use in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rennie.co.uk\/heartburn-during-pregnancy\/\"><span class=\"coh-color-strong-red\">pregnancy<\/span><\/a>\u00a0or when breastfeeding if taken as instructed.
