The capsules have been specially designed to control the release of the active ingredient and so provide relief for up to 12 hours.<br \/>\nNurofen Long Lasting Capsules are for the short term management of backache and muscular pains and period pain (dysmenorrhea).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Suitable for:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Adults and children over 12 years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Age Restriction:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Not to be used in those under 12 years of age<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>How to use:<\/h3>\n<p>For oral administration and short-term<br \/>\nuse only. Adults, the elderly and children 12 years and over ( weighing over<br \/>\n40kg): Take 1 or 2 capsules twice daily. The capsules should be taken<br \/>\ntogether with water and swallowed whole. Do not chew the capsules. Leave<br \/>\nat least 8 hours between doses. Do not take more then 4 capsules in any 24<br \/>\nhour period. Do not give to children under 12 years of age. If symptoms<br \/>\npersist for more than 3 days, worsen or if new symptoms occur consult<br \/>\nyour doctor.<\/p>\n<h3>Storage Instructions:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>This medicinal product does not require any special storage conditions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Ingredients:<\/h3>\n<p>Active ingredients &amp; Strength:<br \/>\nIbuprofen 300 mg. Also Contains: Sugar spheres<br \/>\nPovidone<br \/>\nBasic Butylated Methacrylate copolymer<br \/>\nAmmino Methacrlyte Copolymer Type A<br \/>\nTalc<br \/>\nColloidal anhydrous silica<br \/>\nCapsule shell (contains gelatin)<br \/>\nPrinting ink (contains red iron oxide E172 and yellow iron oxide E172)<\/p>\n<h3>Warnings:<\/h3>\n<p>DO NOT EXCEED THE STATED DOSE. Speak to a doctor or pharmacist before taking this product if: have or have had asthma, diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure,<br \/>\na stroke, heart, liver, kidney or bowel problems or you are a smoker or is you are pregnant. DO NOT TAKE IF YOU: \u2022 have ever had a stomach ulcer, perforation or bleeding<br \/>\n\u2022 are allergic to ibuprofen or any other ingredients of the<br \/>\nproduct, aspirin or other related pain killers<br \/>\n\u2022 are taking other NSAID painkillers, or aspirin with a daily<br \/>\ndose above 75mg<br \/>\n\u2022 are in the last 3 months of pregnancy.
